Welcome! Join us as we discover farming 12 acres in Maryland. We are growing an agricultural business that sustains a rich quality of life for our family. Tom grew up on a family farm and Amy dreamed of living on a farm, so this is the culmination of our heritage and hopes.
We purchased the land along with its farmhouse – which was built in 1821 – and moved our family here in 2018. The house renovations are complete (for now!), and while the “must-do” projects are done, there is always more to do and room to improve.
We were attracted to the beautiful views, lush pastures, and potential for a farm-based businesses on this property and we left the suburbs for this rural life. We are dedicated to being good stewards of this land and welcome you to follow along on our journey. We want to share our knowledge of how important agriculture is in Maryland and local communities all across the country.
