a flavorful twist on traditional pesto

  • 2 c. garlic scapes (rough ends cut off)
  • 1 c. basil, fresh (leaves)
  • 3/4 c. nuts (pine nuts or walnuts work best)
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  1. Place all ingredients except olive oil in food processor.

  2. Blend until herbs and cheese are mixed evenly.

  3. With processor running, add olive oil in a slow stream until desired consistency.
