a flavorful twist on traditional pesto
- 2 c. garlic scapes (rough ends cut off)
- 1 c. basil, fresh (leaves)
- 3/4 c. nuts (pine nuts or walnuts work best)
- 1/2 c. olive oil

Place all ingredients except olive oil in food processor.

Blend until herbs and cheese are mixed evenly.

With processor running, add olive oil in a slow stream until desired consistency.
